Location is very good on the shore.

Breakfast wasn't as expected. No fruits and yogurts. The price is higher for what the offer was.

The room was clean, towels and toiletries were provided, and extra blankets. There was drinking water, kettle, coffee and tea in the room and also a mini fridge and a smart TV. It was comfortable, the room had a balcony. The staff was very nice, the price was appropriate. Nice place by the sea.

The free wi-fi was not working several times, I don't know if it was the weather. The floor in the room was very cold despite the use of heating. It would be very nice if guest slippers and bathrobes were available, or at least for an extra charge.

Not at first, but while exploring - position. The staff was very helpful and nice. Cleaning service every day. The size of the room and the view!

The breakfast - every single day just the same and a bit poor, in one week it becomes annoying. The breakfast area had plenty of flies.

We enjoyed our stay with balconies and sea views, decent space and facilities and a comfortable bed. The foyer and public spaces are good and attractive, with a fine location on the sea front. The hotel certainly looks the business on arrival and feels more authentic than some others we walked past. There is a swimming pool for guests that is open for most of the day (not supervised) accessed from the second floor, on the roof of the restaurant. The restaurant is used for breakfast and later in the day as two eateries, one aiming at finer dining, the other for more regular fare The hotel staff were friendly professional and helpful as were those providing the breakfast service. The value for money was reasonable and the overall feeling was of a hotel that has more character than some of the modern 'glass box' offerings, although they would have a higher quality finish to individual rooms.

Our corner room on the second floor was a bit tired. Although some recent work with a paintbrush had apparently been done. But there are some deficiencies that would take a bit more fixing, such as no bathroom extract fan, air conditioning that sort of worked, and bathroom tiling etc that let the room down. The room didn't feel that it was in the same league as the public areas, which was a pity. These things would take a good deal of time and money to sort out. How important they are to a guest would depend on how fastidious you are, but they did cheapen the experience a bit. However most modern hotels would be rather better finished than this. Some waiting staff in the 'fine dining' restaurant were rather pretentious. However:

Location was fantastic. Hotel great value for money. Walking distance to any amazing restaurants. Easy to arrange visits to all parts of the island on public transport that was very frequent, reliable and inexpensive.

Everything exceeded our expectations

From the warm welcoming on our check in to the nice smell on the corridors, the lovely room and the enormous bathroom left us with a smashing good opinion. Our room was bigger that we imagined with a bathroom nearly half of the room size, shower screen spotless, all the chrome was clean, shiny and spots free. Coffee machine and coffee where an asset to the room, lovely laundry smell and the Valentine's balloon in the middle of the bed made an amazing atmosphere. The quality beat the price this time and we would want to see and find what we saw and found in this hotel in all the hotels across Malta and Gozo. Thank you.

Is nothing that we didn't like. Everything was perfect and I would want to see what I saw in this hotel in all the maltese hotels across the Island. Maybe parking spaces would be great but I know is not possible, the area doesen't have space.

The staff were really helpful and efficient. the cleaners of the room were great.

Check in was pleasant.. breakfast was really nice. The guy working breakfast was busy on his own but still managed to make us feel welcome. Free coffee was a bonus served by a cheerful member of staff. Location is perfect. Away from the noise of bugibba

We had a kettle and cups in our room but no coffee or tea were available.. room was dusty. No welcome leaflet or information on facility's..

Booked to stay there for three nights after a bad Airbnb experience. Sadly had to cut our stay to just one day due to fear of Malta going into coronavirus lockdown. The staff at the hotel could not have been more helpful. They went out of their way to make it easy for us to get back to the UK. Hotel itself is a little traditional but it’s in a great location and we’d love to go back again one day to experience more of the Maltese warmth and hospitality we were shown during our stay.

We had the most amazing view from our room on the 5th floor. Staff were very friendly

Room could do with updating. Coffee, tea & milk was not replenished everyday. Coffee at breakfast was awful.

This is a very nice hotel with lots of history around it. Staff are very friendly and facilities are all to a very high standard. The restaurant has an excellent choice for all. The breakfast is also to a very high standard and exceeded our expectations.

Having to leave

We have a double room with sea view on the third floor. Great Mediterranean Sea view from our room. Close to bus stop to Valletta and other parts of Malta - only 5 minutes walk. The breakfast room has an amazing sea view as well. We were also given welcome drink on the day of arrival. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Just a minor thing- the toilet water ran out in the early morning of the check out day. We have to put some water manually to flush it.
